Yes life exists. In the Zen practice one just is. Here in the Dahn Hak practice all roads ultimately lead to Mu-A an inexplicable state of oneness and simply being. A void from which all possibilities arise. It is at this point of releasing the ego that we can dance with true flavor, walk with an intentional spring, and smile at the rain. In Dahn Yoga we learn to stretch ourselves open to new experience and to feel new awarness beyond our 5 senses. Under the guidence of Ilchi Lee we learn to use our brain as the essence of our life here on earth and through this organ we learn to own our life and body and not to be determined by it but to create our life with it. This is the meaning behind the Power Brain Method training.

life exists
By sue | October 20, 2007
“Life exist of itself, by itself, and in itself. The source of life exists as oneness of itself, by itself, and in itself. You are the flower that blossomed from this life, a phenomenon created by this oneness. ”
We are all one.

Pain in the neck
By laughingbelly | October 19, 2007
As the weather gets cooler, you may feel more aches in the body. Last week during the class, a member at my Dahn Yogacenter said quite loudly “It’s a miracle. A sharp pain in my neck has gone. It has been there since April (now it’s October).” We did a neck exercise to stimulate major acupressure points on the base of the skull–moving a neck backward & side by side using one’s own weight of the head combining with a breath work. To her and all other members amazement, she was able to release the persistence pain in her neck! A Dahn class offers such a simple yet profound tool to help people to recover Health, Smile and Peace.

Bring IT Down
By DoSaNim | October 19, 2007
I went to Healer School about nine months ago and I’ve used almost all of the training in some form or another. Yesterday I used a method of energy movement I had shelved, although I recommend it to many members. The Toe Tapping exercise. You can do it sitting up or lying down, I find the latter a little more difficult but returns a greater benefit. The rest is simple tap your big toes together and let your legs rebound and fall open to touch your little toes on the ground and then bounce back and repeat. I’ve done it for about 15 minutes for the last two days and have found it to be awesome and incomparable for bringing the overactive thought energy out of my head. Also if you are sleepy and can not hardly stay awake but you need to be — TOE TAPPING. The resulting feeling is amazing. As always, DAHN CENTERyou want health we have answers.

Power to change
By laughingbelly | October 18, 2007
So many self-help books are published, and we read them. Any noticeable changes in our lives individually and collectively? We already have more than enough wisdom and insight, yet it is so difficult to change ourselves and the world. What is missing?
Power to take actions. As Ilchi Lee said “No Action, No Creation” It is so true.
One of the major changes I have experienced over the years of practicing Dahn Hak/Dahn Yoga is this. My ability to take prompt actions has increased significantly. My tendency to procrastinate has diminished greatly. This ancient body mind training definitely helped me grow far more than I had expected. I got the power to change my body, brain and life!

Change
By DoSaNim | October 18, 2007
The only true constant is change. Through the Dahn Hak practice we learn the value of accumulating and moving energy with awareness so as not to become swamped by the ups and downs that each day inevitably goes through.
Energy generally flows in waves so consequently there are peaks and valleys to its force. The difference in the crests and troughs is the ride the unknowing person witnesses as daily life. Sometimes those waves are long and slow rolls. Sometimes the surface is choppy and the ups and downs are abrupt. As humanity continues to develop the amplitude and frequency increase and a malstrom ensues; the orderly chaos of the universe becomes more apparent and more difficult to overcome. This would be the rise in mental disorders, stemming from the stress of an ever increasing demand to do more quicker with less.
Dahn Hak Practice focuses on an integration of the brain and body drawing on the wisdom of the ancient Far East and combining it with the Western advanced knowledge. At our local Dahn center we learn how to meditate in a world that is only just barely learning the value of a meditative practice. As Western medicine continues to advance it finds more and more reasons to refer patients to the age old practice of Breathing and Relaxation. Center the mind and body. Restore your innate ability to take control of your life.
No longer do you have to be a lost person adrift in a sea of changing energy. This is our Universe and this is your life. Be an animal of the sea and move with fluidity through the constant change with disregaurd for the nature of the surface. Life is deeper and more mysterious than any of us can see from a boat or the shore.

Laughing medicine
By laughingbelly | October 18, 2007
I’ve been doing laughing meditation (medication ^__^) for sometime. I laugh “just because” until my belly aches and my eyes become teary. It takes only a few minutes to do so. You cannot understand how you will feel unless you try it. We can choose to laugh for no reason. We can choose our emotions. Laughing meditation can be viewed as BEST (Brain Education System Training) step 3 and 4-Brain Refreshing and Integrating, which you can get training at Dahn Yoga Centers. In the middle of almost uncontrollable laugh, energy sweeps through my whole body. I feel my brain gets healed, and my whole body vibrates. Laughing is the BEST medicine, better than just smiling!

Detour
By laughingbelly | October 16, 2007
A few days ago, due to a major car accident report I had heard before I took a highway, I chose to take detour via local service road. As I was driving the road, I could see the highway, where the traffic was moving well still. I passed several exits and wondered if I had made a right choice. Because I planned too far ahead and worried too much in advance, I spent more time by taking a local road. I could have spent less time by taking risk of stuck in traffic. I could have listened to my gut feeling of taking the highway when my energy center in my belly was telling me. I knew the feeling of making a correct choice in my body as I had developed through my Dahn Yoga practice. I could have applied the sense of knowing to a simple situation of taking a road.
What a great lesson I’ve learned. This experience exactly reflexes my life. Be aware potential difficulties, but move forward with some risks anyway. Only then can I grow through the challenges.

Hurts so goooood
By laughingbelly | October 15, 2007
It is not always easy and enjoyable when I take Dahn Yoga class. Especially when I do deep stretching or a hard training of holding one posture for a long period of time to accumulate ki energy in my energy center (2nd chakra area). “No pain, no gain” Ilchi Lee said. If I want to feel lighter, healthier, I need to unblock energy channels and go through inevitable pain. I accept the good pain. It hurts so goooood~~~

Acceptance
By rigby | October 15, 2007
I recently had a chance to experience some of the Tao Holistic Healing in Sedona Ilchi Meditation Center. A deeper healing program then is possible during regular Dahn Yoga classes or even weekend workshops, Tao Healing offers a profound chance to discover the root of your physical pain and learn acceptance. When we can accept our pain, our emotions, our bad habits, we can start to change them. What you resist, persists. Without acceptance there can be no growth.
