Make Peace with Your Brain Stem

Our lifestyle today could be likened to a vo-vo that is continuously on the move, up and down, over and over again. It you have played with a yo-yo much, you know that either a certain amount of time the string becomes kinked and the vo-vo no longer runs smoothly. Every once in a while, you have to stop and let the string unwind. Think of Brain Wave Vibration as a way for you to stop the constant movement of your mind to let it untwist and become whole again.

Make Peace with Your Brain Stem

The history of humanity has been a constant progression toward the limits of rational thought. Through our ability to judge, analyze, and plan, we have gone a long way toward controlling the vagaries of human existence. In some ways we have tamed the uncontrollable, mysterious aspects of life on this planet. In doing so, however, we have introduced imbalance, both in our own personal lives and on the planet. The effect of imbalance on the Earth is becoming obvious, and the effects on our health are becoming clear as well.

Active Lifestyle

In spite of his advanced years, he never gave up his active lifestyle, sustaining a full schedule of speaking engagements and leisurely sports activities. One key habit, I think, was that he walked regularly, and always with a spring in his step. His gait and demeanor were so youthful that he soon garnered the nick¬name Forever-Young Brother. On the day he died, he played a game of tennis in the morning, had a full lunch, laid down for a nap, and then gently passed away in his sleep.

The time has come to mix the wisdom of East and West to really get the most out of life. Scientists have set the human life span at 120 years, yet few of us live even two-thirds of that in good health. The pharmaceuticals and medical technology we have are amazing, but to live life fully we must rediscover some of the old wisdom that connects us more intimately with our own bodies. Western medicine has many gifts to offer, but the old systems, based sometimes on hundreds of years of human experience, should not be dismissed out of hand.
