Lately it seems that every one I know is in this boat with me. The waves are crashing over the bow and the wind is blowing to hard for the sails be of any use. It’s time to buckle into the practice. We create our life through what we feel is true. When life is crashing it’s our ego and true-self battling. Without the feel of destruction we wouldn’t call it the battle it would just be the debate. We endure a battle because it means death to the loser. Our mind tosses about like a boat in the wind and waves of the this torrent. At this point it is imperative that drop into our practice with the last bit of energy we have. Pushing ourselves to the center for an easy stretching routine can be the real difference between falling back into old habits and creating a new habit of being able watch who we really are without attachment or judgment of who that is. The Dahn Hak Yoga Center is a place of sanctuary. When I can release my attachment to judging myself here in the few moments of Ji-Gam I have to clearest window of opportunity to increase my dynamic for becoming the person I want to be.
