Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007When you take a moment to change your mood what your changing is your brainwave pattern and resetting your mind. Most of our problem solving good ideas happen when we’re in the Theta wave state, the wave pattern before dream state, when we can work tasks autonomically. In Dahn Hak Yoga we practice opening our bodies [...]

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007Today started grey in NY but now the sun is shining have you taken just a moment to step outside and feel the sun on your face? While you’re out there get lost for a moment in the blue sky as a cloud dances by. Just 60 seconds can change your mood and the world [...]
Aura photo
Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007Many Dahn Yogacenters offer Aura picture and its interpretation service. Similar to Kilian photography, the aura photo shows how bio-magnetic field colors change depending on a person’s physical, emotional spiritual well being conditions. Hope someday soon, we can have a machine that can capture moving images of aura of a person.

Healing colors
Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007I used to wear lots of black and dark color clothing, especially when I worked in the corporate world. These days I rather like to wear brighter or neutral colors. I saw a documentary film, which showed how those dogs are bred, carefully chosen from puppy-hood, then screened and trained to be official guiding dogs. Not all dogs pass the screening and training process. Only selected dogs can [...]

When you breathe in deep the fresh air of the lofty height you’ve achieved how do you feel?
When you leave the Yoga Center have you felt that same openness, clarity of mind and ease of [...]
Vibrations
Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007Even in our daily lives we use certain tones, sounds, and words to elicit emotions from the people we are aiming to reach. With children do you use the same tone of voice as with business clients? Usually when talking to children most poeple’s voice rises a few octives so we sound more like children. In this [...]
Yoga and voicing
Monday, October 1st, 2007If you are already a yoga practitioner, you know people chant during the yoga class, mostly using ancient Indian language Sanskrit words like aum~
Here at Dahn Yoga center, we do use variety of voices and sounds to open up energy points, channels, and centers in the body. Sound produces vibration, which is a form of [...]
