Detour
By laughingbelly | October 16, 2007
A few days ago, due to a major car accident report I had heard before I took a highway, I chose to take detour via local service road. As I was driving the road, I could see the highway, where the traffic was moving well still. I passed several exits and wondered if I had made a right choice. Because I planned too far ahead and worried too much in advance, I spent more time by taking a local road. I could have spent less time by taking risk of stuck in traffic. I could have listened to my gut feeling of taking the highway when my energy center in my belly was telling me. I knew the feeling of making a correct choice in my body as I had developed through my Dahn Yoga practice. I could have applied the sense of knowing to a simple situation of taking a road.
What a great lesson I’ve learned. This experience exactly reflexes my life. Be aware potential difficulties, but move forward with some risks anyway. Only then can I grow through the challenges.
